Effect of MANTRA

Mantra is a particular syllable or set of words, may or may not be in Sanskrit, which has a particular effect in the Universe. We cannot missunderstand it too be a common word. Sanskrit is the language of Gods and also it is written in our Holy Scriptures that

                    MANTRO AADHINASCH DEVAH..

which literary means that all the Gods are bound by these Mantras. Whatever Mantra we speak that thing will be executed by the Gods, they are bound to do it.. because they are 'Devtas', their duty is to give. Any task however difficult or impossible looking it is can be done only through the use of Mantras.

But, is it so simple as it sounds....?
Can a common man get any mantra from any book and the Devta will come in front of him ??
Of course not... Imagine how much people would have missused the power of it. The world would have been destroyed long ago if an deserving is given the knowledge of the Mantras and the power to use it.

Todays Science believe that whatever word we speak enters the atmosphere and remains there for years and centuries... It cannot be destroyed or lost, only it is difficult to catch that vibration, but still whatever was spoken ovr a thousand years ago is safe in the environment, be it in any part of atmosphere. Whatever we speak or whatever comes out from our mouth has a certain effect also, in the environment. And the repeated chant of a certain sounds vibs/Mantras along with the use of certain powerful mantra beej can get our desired work done. The practise and use of Mantras in a particular way , for a certain period of time, for the execution of a desired work get done is called Sadhana.

But still any Mantra taken from any where if spoken directly does not have any effect.
Why ???
Because, in the same way as a body is in itself nothing in absence of soul, so is Mantra ineffective without the power of 'Mann'.. or Mind. Human body has immense power and unlimited capacity but it is in dormant state only a siddh Yogi makes use of this power. He has understood and realised his seven other bodies, except the only one outer 'sthool sharir', which a common man can see.
Other than the basic outer body, there is also 6 other bodies present inside us, these are made of different elements and has immense power stored inside it. The body and the face which we see in the mirror is only the weakest and the dumbest part of our existence. The actual 'YOU' is deep, much much deep inside you. You can only reach there by crossing the level of dhyaan(Meditation).

Sthool Sharir        - Physical body
Bhaav Sharir         - Emotional Body
Shukshm Sharir  - Etheric body
Manah Sharir       - Mental body
Aatm Sharir          - Soul body
Nirvaan Sharir    - Cosmic body
Param Nirvaan - Ultimate Cosmic body

The etheric body, not visible for the majority of humankind, is like a violet-gray 'mist' covering your physical body. The etheric body is also the storehouse of your memories from this lifetime and all the previous ones, which is known as 'Sanskars'. When the physical body perishes after death and the Praan lives the body then this Etheric body/Sukshm sharir comes into existence.

The Mental sharir is however much more powerful and anything can be done by the help of it. The chariot of Lankesh Raawan moved by the speed of Mann. Our Mann has subtle connection with the whole Universe and any task in the Universe can be performed by learning the correct use of our Mind power. The Mantra power and its practise has much to do with our Mental body.

Similarly there are upper sharirs, which a Yogi discovers by raising his Kundalini. As the Kundalini power inside him rises the negativity disappears and devine qualities inside him arises.

These sharir are linked among them through Kundalini, which gets activated through Praan......
Our physical body has 3 major nadis(nerve ends) at the base of the backbone.
Ida, Pingala and Sushumna nadis.
Pingala is the Surya nadi, and is the source of Praan
Ida is the Chandra nadi, and is the source of Mann
And these ascend upwards through the Sushumna Nadi and cause the activation of all the chakras.
When our Manah sharir is fully activated and we get control over our Mann, then we can make use of Mantra in whatever way we like. Even Tantrik shatkarms like Maran, Mohan, Vidweshan, Ucchatan and Vashikaran can also be performed.

If we know about our other subtle bodies also, only then we can successfully use the Mantras. Sadgurudev said so many times in shivirs that how can you get success in Tantra sadhana if you do not activate your PRAAN...??
He wrote various books on Meditation and Dhyan which helps a lot to understand the procedure of Dhyan.

According to Tantra shastra, through Maithun new shrishti is formed. Shiva and Shakti come together and then a creation is formed.
Our both lips come together and the word comes out. Here, lips coming together is Maithun and the word coming out is the new formation. In the same way the words mate with the environment and cause the formation of our desired thing to be done. So it must be clear to all that any desired thing can be achieved by the use of a particular Mantra in a particulr way, and chanting it for particular number of time that Mantra gives us its result.
